Who I Am
As someone who has spent his career as a wildland firefighter and first responder, I revel in the opportunity to help you connect and strengthen your leadership bond with your company, co-workers, family, friends, spouse, partner and yourself. I have worked in wildland fire since 1991, been a basketball official since 2001, am a John Maxwell Certified Team Member, and I am a Hopi Tribal Member. I have worked for the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and recently retired in June of 2025 as the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) Northwest Region Fire Management Officer. Fire and my life experiences have blessed me time and time again. Of note, I have been part of developing and implementing the BLM Honor Guard and the BIA Northwest Region Honor Guard. I am currently a Division Group Supervisor for the Northwest Region Complex Incident Management Team #10.
Most importantly, I am a husband and father to three wonderful children. My wife, Michelle, is out of my league. The photo to the right is of my son James; he is currently a Squad Leader for the Snake River Hotshots. My other two daughters, Bianca and Maizie, are successful in their own right and all our loved beyond measure.
